The Racing 40 SB03 is a limited edition of 250 individually numbered pieces. Finished entirely in sky blue, it offers a new take on the Racing 40, capturing the lightness and spirit of summer through a fully monochromatic execution.

The Racing 40 SB03 is housed in a 40 mm 316L stainless-steel case with polished and brushed finishes and is powered by a mechanical-quartz chronograph movement (caliber VK64). The bezel is crafted from sapphire crystal with a tachymeter scale and is set against a textured dual-layer sky-blue dial. The concentric-grooved sub-dials display a 60-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock and a 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock.

The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The watch is paired with a matching vulcanized FKM rubber strap fitted with a brushed and polished stainless-steel buckle.

The materials and components of the Racing 40 SB03 have been carefully selected for durability and longevity.

The limited-edition Racing 40 SB03 is our interpretation of summer in watch form. Rendered entirely in monochromatic sky blue, it captures the lightness and ease of the season while offering a fresh perspective on the Racing 40 and building on the aesthetic established by the highly popular SB01 and SB02.

From the translucent sapphire bezel and textured dual-layer dial to the matching FKM rubber strap, every element is designed to feel connected. Contrasting textures add subtle depth, while the polished and brushed steel case provides balance and structure to the softer tones.

The Racing 40 collection is our reimagined take on the classic racing chronographs of the 1960s.

CASE

A slim 12 mm profile ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist. The 40 mm case is crafted from 316L stainless steel with polished and brushed finishes and features a screw-down crown, while a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating protects the dial. The sapphire bezel reflects light with a subtle translucency that reinforces the monochrome aesthetic.

DIAL

The dual-layer dial is presented in monochromatic sky blue, combining contrasting textures through a grained upper dial and concentric-grooved sub-dials. A 60-minute chronograph counter is positioned at 9 o’clock, while a 24-hour indicator sits at 3 o’clock. Polished hands provide contrast against the matte surfaces, ensuring excellent legibility.

MOVEMENT

The Racing 40 SB03 is powered by a mechanical-quartz chronograph movement, caliber VK64, combining Japanese quartz accuracy with a mechanical chronograph module. The result is a smooth sweeping stopwatch seconds hand (5 beats per second) and an instant reset with mechanical-feedback pushers—delivering the feel of a mechanical chronograph with the reliability of quartz.
