About

The limited edition Racing 40 Mechanical Dune GCC is housed in a 40 mm 316L stainless steel case with polished and brushed finishes, complemented by a color-matched sapphire bezel with Eastern Arabic numerals and a matching integrated vulcanized FKM rubber strap. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Each watch includes an additional black rubber strap.

The dual-layer dial is presented in a light-beige colorway and features applied polished Eastern Arabic hour makers. The grained upper dial is complemented by contrasting sub-dials with embossed concentric sectors, creating depth, texture, and visual balance. The sub-dials feature Eastern Arabic numerals and display chronograph minutes at 3 o'clock and running seconds at 9 o'clock.

Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, the manual-winding Seagull ST1901 mechanical chronograph movement features a column-wheel architecture, operates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, and delivers an approximate 38-hour power reserve.

This edition pays tribute to our GCC community whose support has been instrumental to the brand since the inception of HOFFMAN.

The materials used in this watch are simple yet refined: stainless steel, scratch-proof sapphire crystal, and a manual-wind mechanical movement—all carefully selected for longevity and style.

The GCC watch community has played an instrumental role in our journey, supporting us from the very beginning. The Racing 40 Mechanical Dune GCC Edition honors that enduring relationship and celebrates the community that has helped shape our brand.

The edition is powered by a hand-wound mechanical chronograph movement and presented in a monochromatic light-beige colorway inspired by the region’s desert landscapes. The color evokes warmth and serenity while representing the region’s heritage.

Applied Eastern Arabic hour markers, complemented by Eastern Arabic numerals on the sub-dials and bezel, celebrate the edition’s connection to the region.

The edition is limited to 200 individually numbered pieces.

The Racing 40 Mechanical collection is our reimagined interpretation of the classic racing chronographs of the 1960s, combining vintage-inspired design with a hand-wound mechanical chronograph movement.

CASE

The 40 mm case is crafted from durable 316L stainless steel with polished and brushed finishes and features a slim 13.5 mm profile. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating protects the dial, while the sapphire exhibition caseback reveals the manual-wind chronograph movement beneath.

The bezel, crafted from sapphire crystal, reflects light with a subtle translucency that reinforces the monochromatic aesthetic. Paired with our integrated vulcanized FKM rubber strap, the watch offers a comfortable and balanced fit on the wrist.

DIAL

The dual-layer dial is presented in a monochromatic light-beige colorway. The lightly grained dial is set against contrasting sub-dials with embossed concentric sectors, adding depth and visual balance. The sub-dials display the chronograph minutes at 3 o’clock and the running seconds at 9 o’clock, both in Eastern Arabic numerals.

The dial features polished, applied Eastern Arabic numerals and matching polished hands filled with Super-LumiNova (BGW9), ensuring excellent legibility throughout.

MECHANICAL MOVEMENT

The edition is powered by the Seagull ST1901 mechanical manual-wind movement. This column-wheel chronograph operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of up to approximately 38 hours.

Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback, the movement reveals its mechanical architecture, blued screws, and chronograph mechanism. Its manual-wind operation creates a more direct and engaging connection between the wearer and the movement.
